Translate URL slugs#9

Ability to translate URL slugs.
For example, translate /about-us in english to /a-propos in french

url is one of the most important elements about SEO, translated boost up in the serp.

We’ve built an intire website expecting this was a default feature since “multilanguage seo best practices” where highlighted as a Weglot USP. Can’t launch it now :(. So nice to see it’s planned and hopefully the team will work this one out soon.

Hello! I have a WP site that I’d like to translate and also translate the URLs, but the advanced plan is quite expensive. Are there any plans to make this feature available in the pro plan? Thank you and happy new year!

What I heard from support, they will not be able to ship this feature for Webflow in Q1. They’ve postponed it to the second quarter of the year. Also, I asked “Will you offer a redirection feature when you launch that feature?” however I couldn’t get an answer about it.

Yes we will by default have a redirection feature :)

I also use WordPress and I see the translation of the URL address as an absolute must-have. I also see the fact that an advanced plan is necessary for this as far too expensive. For a professional site, this feature is absolutely necessary, but the price is absolutely unprofitable for the most WordPress websites. Are there any plans to enable URL translation from the Business plan onwards? I think this feature makes much more sense from this plan onwards.
